For the 'Final Act' in his Sleeve Notes residency at VIVID, Trevor Pitt will invite a host of artists, designers, performers and musicians from Birmingham to become part of The Demimonde, an art-rock band that will collaboratively write and record and perform new material at a one-off performance in October 2012.

In collaboration with artist and musican Brian Duffy, he will score and record a series of pop songs that Pitt wrote and recorded on a cassette tape palyer in his bedroom between the age of 15 and 20.

Four of these songs will be recorded by The Demimonde - a band that Duffy and Pitt will put together in March 2012 especially for the recording sessions and a one and only performance.

Two of the songs will be pressed to vinyl and released as an edition of 1000 copies.
